Proof of Life
Friday, Jul. 09, 2004 . 2:37 p.m.

Okay, I am starting to feel the stirrings of my long lost initiative. I've been emailing, going out, leaving the house. This is good. And here is the ultimate sign: I'm updating. if only for Rachel. Rachel painstakingly sent me the latest Midtown album, which I am listening too right now. I think my brother would like this. I was going to email him, telling him to dl this, but I realized I dont have his email address.

Tonight I am going over to Liz's and give her the gift I got her at a Cracker Barrel that I stopped at on my drive down. I am sure she will like it.

I maxed out my credit card for the first time. My limit was 900. The balance from last statement was 400. I assumed that your credit automatically renewed each billing cycle. Not so. So, the 400 from the month before and the 600 I had already spent resulted in the suspension of my card, which was discovered at the local Blockbuster. How embarassing. It was all the charging when I was watching the kids. Groceries. Eating out. Megan's horse camp, which involved the purchase of shoes, pants, and a sleeping bag. And the gifts. I've been buying really expensive gifts. The Dooney and Bourke wallet (oh god im still cringing at how much I spent, Divya must never know) for Divya, a one hour massage for my mother at a local spa (90 bucks), etc. My credit limit is now 1,100.

I am living beyond my meager means. I must begin to practice the strictest economy.

Liz just called, so I will have to finish this mundane update later.

William Earl Bartley was the cutest little boy ever.

I've been starting to drink apple juice (slightly diluted with some water) after not drinking apple juice in a long time.
