I was on the train heading from the airport back to my apartment and I closed my eyes to relieve the headache from my new glasses. As we pulled out of the Oakland City station I smelled something divine. My eyes flew open to look upon this olfactory orgy who had just sat down next to me. He had large, widely spaced eyes and hearing aids tucked in his ears. He smiled. "Hi," I mouthed to him. I inhaled deeply. He got off the train with his mother at Five Points. The rest of the ride was spent smiling at the thought and memory of that little boy who smelled like peanut butter.

Everyone should smell like peanut butter.
