Stayed up late again last night, debating the merits (now that's ironic) of affirmative action with Bart, who I seem to be talking to with alarming frequency. I was so out of it last night, tired, and I kept losing my train of thought and I couldnt manage to offer my counter-points quickly enough or at all and I was so slow and I couldnt make an assertive, founded argument for my life, my thoughts were so scattered. It was weird though, 'cause it wasn't an arguement as we had the same view, but I think it was more an issue of the etiology of our views. Or, I had an issue with his basis for arriving at his conclusion.

I usually enjoy intellectual discourse of this sort, even at 2 am. But I didn't this time, for some reason.
